Door County tomorrow Oct07 '04
Tomorrow I will be leaving for Door County, Wisconsin. Ain’t a more exciting place in America than Wisconsin, I can tell you that. (I am being sarcastic, yes)
Actually, this time of year can be breathtaking, in such areas. Door County is no exception. The seasons are changing, among many other things, and it makes for some pretty good post cards.
You can bet I will be taking pictures.
Before this trip, I didn’t know exactly where Door County was, in Wisconsin – so I consulted one of my maps. It turns out Door County is on that little peninsula that sticks out of Wisconsin – on the eastern edge:
We will be staying somewhere in Egg Harbor, which is circled on the map above.
Among the many plans for our "brief two day stay" is to check out the halloween and autumn festivities, which are numerous.
I also expect that we will find time to just sit around and enjoy the cool Wisconsin air. And knowing me, I will find time to post a few photos, or drop a line about something entertaining.
