U2 Saturday Jan29 '05
Well... it looks like nobody I know could get tickets to U2, who are putting on (among many others) four shows here in Chicago, as of this minute. (They keep adding shows, so there could be more soon.)
My friend Pat tried numerous times through the "always malfunctioning" Ticketmaster.com, but to no avail did he reap any success.
The ONLY success he experienced was $60 seats behind the stage.
Give me a break.
I have never seen U2, and I would like to, but not sitting there!
The United Center sucks for concerts, anyway. It is obviously not a concert venue. (The sound is horrible too).
I guess we can keep trying to get tickets, somehow. But things look grim, so far.
