Big Ten Tournament 2005 Mar08 '05
Although it’s only the end of Tuesday, I am already anticipating the weekend.
Wednesday evening begins my five day hiatus at the United Center, in Chicago, for the 2005 Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament.
I will be working the tournament, along with my brother Dave, as we have both done in the past many times.
Our duties include working the Media Shuttle Bus at the Sheraton Hotel, and Press Lounge Hospitality, at the United Center.
In between our duties, we will definitely be checking out some of the action, on court.
It looks to be a great conference tournament – with 11 big university schools, competing for an automatic bid in the field of 64 – March Madness.
The tournament runs Thursday morning through Sunday afternoon, with games filling the clock.
Tomorrow evening (Wednesday) is the meeting between the Big Ten staff, and the volunteers – at 6 PM.
It should be a very exciting weekend.
