‘Comments you’ve made’ application Sep26 '05

I love leaving comments on blogs, but I also like to check for a response to my comments - whether from the author herself, or other readers. Typically, this involves subscribing to an RSS feed for comments on that particular entry (which is a feature many blogs don’t have) - or just "remembering" which blogs you commented on, and trying to find the URI.

I don’t like either approaches. I’d much prefer to have one application that keeps track of all the URI’s, and allows me to see all the recent sites I’ve commented on - at a glance.

Flickr has a nice feature called Comments you’ve made:

This allows you to quickly see all the comments you’ve ever left for anyone’s photos on Flickr.

I’ll tell you what. The first person who can develop an application that keeps track of comments made anywhere on the web will be a wealthy person.
