Google RSS readerIt looks like Google is working on an RSS reader, which definitely has my attention. But... unless it can handle massive amounts of feeds (100-500 feeds) - then I most likely will stick with Bloglines, which seems to be the only web-based RSS reader, that can handle bulk, with ease. Most other web-based readers are only for the casual RSS user (10-30 feeds). I did, however, import all of my subscriptions into Google Reader, and it happily organized my feeds, the same way they were organized at Bloglines. Also - the biggest feature at Google Reader is the use of AJAX, which will eventually impress the masses. So far, the layout and functionality of Google Reader seems "broken," but I will be keeping an eye on this, over time - and maybe (you never know), they will "unseat" Bloglines. But I doubt it. Yeah, I agree, it does look a little broken. Having said that, the worst part of it is getting started (especially when importing an OPML list) -- it gets better once it gets over the fact you've just imported a whole bunch of feeds at the same time, they're all unread, and it needs to inform you that there are no new posts for all of them. Grr.
Hopefully it'll soon improve, though. Goodness knows GMail has since it first came out.
