Online banking closed on Sundays? Oct30 '05

Why do online banking services feel they can close down their web site on Sundays - simply because their 'brick and mortar' locations are also closed?

It’s understandable that physical banks are closed on Sundays - it’s been that way since the birth of Christ.

But, how come online banking services also close on Sundays? It’s really aggravating. What’s the purpose of a web site, if it’s down on Sundays?

This is also the case for credit card web services.

I can’t access my accounts; I can’t transfer money; I can’t pay my bills.

Who cares if it’s Sunday!? A web site should not be down, on a Sunday - just because the counterpart 'brick and mortar' chains are also down.

Web site maintenance is not a good enough excuse. It shouldn’t be conducted during the day. Any day.

Does anyone use an online banking or credit card service, which remains open on Sundays?
