Heading to Minnesota this coming week Nov11 '05
I am heading to Minnesota this coming week, for a light business trip. I will be arriving Monday afternoon, and departing Friday morning.
It looks to be a fun week, as I plan to meetup with Andy, who lives near the area I’m staying, and I might join him for a Java User Group Presentation, discussing - among many things - remote scripting, also known as Advanced JavaScript and XML (AJAX). I assume it will be somewhat similar to Terry Chay's OSCON talk, as linked here a while back. According to Andy, one of the authors of this book will be speaking. This will be an incredible opportunity to ask detailed questions that I have about AJAX, and hopefully start using it, in my every-day web work.
I also might attend a Timberwolves game, at the Target Center, in nearby Minneapolis. I would love to see a game there - but it would be even better if the Bulls were in town! Either way - if I do it, I’ll be sure to take lots of photos.
Should be a fun week, with plenty of blog posts.
