Happy Thanksgiving Nov24 '05

I wanted to take a break from "thinking up my next great thing," to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Although it may be difficult (and perhaps not even necessary) to take a "computer break," try to do that anyway, today - even if it’s only for 10 minutes. I plan to do it for a lot longer, though.

Email, RSS feeds, instant messages - they’ll all be there when you get back.

Family is what’s important - not whether Apple’s Pages opens all file types. (This is me, talking to myself - bear with me.)

It also doesn’t matter if iTunes can re-locate every song you’ve just renamed, in the folder directory, because now I have to manually locate each song, when I try to play it.

At the same time, it doesn’t matter if your Powerbook is "Airport Extreme ready" - whatever that means.

Just leave it all aside, and have some wine, and enjoy being around your family. For one day out of the year, take the time to realize how fortunate we all are. All the things we have - all the possibilities that lay before us.

Today’s that day to reflect on that. So just step away from it all.

Woops, hold on a sec - iPhoto just froze up on me - I have to force quit it.

See how far that got??

Happy Thanksgiving - to anyone reading this.
