Back to Bedlam - James Blunt Nov25 '05
Not since Jeff Buckley’s Grace (1994) have I felt so entranced by an album.
James Blunt’s Back To Bedlam is surreal, haunting, beautiful - and it goes straight down to the tingle we feel by that brush of peacefulness, that comes our way once in a great while.
These sweet melodies float by with sharp, and almost painful vocals and lyrics. I really feel everything when listening to this album.
I’m thinking of Jeff Buckley, David Gray, Damien Rice, Aqualung, Ed Harcourt.
