Jack Johnson video album Dec20 '05

Jack Johnson is, by far, one of favorite artists. His intelligent, roomy, and tropical-esque music is catchy and adoring... Although some people think he’s too critical, in his lyrics. I am able to look past that, and just enjoy the tunes. His music puts me at ease, and makes me think of a beach along the shores of Hawaii - which is where he is from, I believe, and has recorded many of his albums.

Today he released an album of videos (aka a DVD) - but it’s only $9.99 on iTunes - and that’s 22 (yes, 22) videos for $10. The videos are full-length songs, and some of them are over 7 minutes long.

The album is titled A Weekend At The Greek & Live In Japan.

Obviously there’s a DVD counterpart, but I’m not into collecting DVDs anymore - in fact, I’m not into collecting anything physical anymore. So this iTunes deal works out swell.

Not to mention, even with all the generous Amazon discounts, it’s still $6 cheaper on iTunes.

Rock on.
