Jump! Baseball is almost here Feb20 '06
Call me "old fashioned," or just plain "nerdy," but I heard Jump by Van Halen, on some net radio station this morning, and I instantly thought of a bright sunny summer afternoon at Wrigley Field, as the entire Chicago Cubs team jogs out onto the field as the game begins, with Jump playing on the loudspeaker, and the crowd cheers and wails at their arrival.
God that’s such a good sight/sound.
You can’t replace that moment with anything.
