OPML 2.0 Draft Specification Mar05 '06
The OPML 2.0 Draft Specification was just released, and it’s a "big step forward," as significant improvements have been made.
Dave Winer compares it to the release of RSS 2.0, in the summer of 2002.
OPML stands for Outline Processor Markup Language, and is very easy to understand and implement, much like RSS. The biggest use for OPML (that I’ve seen) has been for exporting RSS feeds, to use in another RSS reader.
I love XML applications, such as OPML and RSS, because they are so easy to understand, and implement. That’s the whole idea of XML, anyway.
