Lisa, there doesn't appear to be a built-in way to archive AIM conversations, yet.
I'd suggest trying Meebo. I've used it for months, and I love it.

to save your convos, go into aim preferences and click on AIM logging, from there you can choose what you would like to save to a certain location. Its fairly simple if you want to look back to older conversations.

I just downloaded the new AOL for MAC, as the old one was glitchy. I'm used to using Gmail because I like the idea of archiving, and am glad AIM seems to have this feature

I need AIM to save my conversations, and I don’t know of a way to do this.

TRY IM Frame by BPS Software. Will not work with Triton, but works great with 5.9. http://www.bpssoft.com/
