Switching to Google Notebook from Ta-Da lists

I am strongly considering switching my To-Do lists from Ta-Da lists to Google Notebook.

Ta-Da lists have been great. Don’t get me wrong. However, I’m beginning to feel that there are some more features I’d like:

  • Better "emergence" from the browser itself (Google Notebook has a Firefox extension that sits in your browser, and is available at a simple keystroke request).
  • Smoother re-ordering of tasks (Google Notebook allows for drag-and-drop).
  • More space to write (Google Notebook let’s you write into a textarea box, instead of just a textbox).

That last point - the difference is crucial.

Below is a standard textbox, which is what "Ta-Da lists" use:

Do you have any idea how hard it is to type a paragraph or two, inside that thing!?

Google Notebook uses textarea boxes:

Plain and simple - it’s just easier to type more.

And Google Notebook still offers the same simplicity of Ta-Da lists, allowing you to create multiple lists (notebooks), and make them public.

I’ll try switching things over for a while, and see how it goes.
