Daring Fireball RSS feed in Safari Dec05 '06

I think I've finally had enough of attempting to manually load up Daring Fireball every day, in order to keep up with the latest posts. At first it was easy. I remembered (most days), and I was able to keep up.

Lately I've been forgetting to check the site, and today I realized I haven't checked the site in about 15 days. With the holiday season in full gear, my time has become a lot more scarce.

This is where an RSS feed would come in handy, but I've already discussed how that doesn't work for me (yet).

So I am open to try a desktop reader, specifically for my MacBook. One that supports authenticated feeds.

Problem is, I don't know which readers support authenticated feeds.

I've looked at NewsFire, since I've used it before, and it "feels good" on a Mac. It doesn't seem to support authenticated feeds, though.

I think I've decided to just use Safari as an RSS reader, for authenticated feeds only. I'll still stick with Google Reader for all other feeds.

Who knows, maybe if I start liking Safari - I'll switch to that!
