More Firefox/Mac problems Dec21 '06

I recently upgraded to Firefox 2.0 on Mac OS X (MacBook, Intel). Since then it's been nothing but problems.

YouTube and Flash - if it was working fine in Firefox 1.5, why would those browser plug-ins be removed with the upgrade to 2.0? Does YouTube even require a browser plug-in? I don't believe so...

The removal of saved form passwords and web site history is just inexcusable.

And the scrolling problems are extremely irritating. It will scroll fine for a few seconds, then "stick," like it's stuck on something, then continue scrolling, but then I lose my place, because it jumps around.

The browser also locks up quite a bit, causing me to have to Force Quit it.

I am not, by any means, taking away from all of the advantages that Firefox provides me, and has provided me over the years. It just seems that Firefox is extra buggy on Mac OS X.
