Google Apps Premier Edition Feb27 '07
Google recently launched Google Apps Premier Edition - which is a more robust version of Google Apps for your domain.
As if the non-Premier edition wasn't reliable enough, take a look at these added features for large or small businesses:
- 24/7 support for critical issues
- 99.9% up-time guarantee for Gmail with a service-level agreement
- 10 GB email quota per user account
- No ads
- API for setting up an email gateway to conduct a deployment pilot, or for archiving of email and compliance
- API for integrating single sign-on services
- API for migration of calendar data (email migration is coming)
- Partner technology and services
All I can say is "wow." If businesses aren't leveraging these services, they are missing out on some huge savings, and excellent features.
I'm all for another step away from the "choke-hold" that Microsoft has on the computing world.
