My March Madness itinerary Mar05 '07
I've published a partial-itinerary for the next two weeks, in which I will be actively involved in college basketball's Big Ten Tournament, as well as the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament - both held at the United Center, in Chicago, IL.
Activities include working inside the United Center, as well as at the Fairmont and Hyatt hotels in downtown Chicago.
I will also be in attendance to watch the games on my "off days," and possibly attending the Big Ten celebration at Navy Pier this Saturday night.
There will certainly be a plentiful explosion of pictures under my Flickr account, over the next two weeks. Grab the RSS feed now, if you'd like to stay informed.
This itinerary is meant to be a repository of general information that I will need (driving directions, maps, job duties, instructions, etc.) - all in one spot. I used Google Docs to create it, and simply published the results to the live web.
Using Google Docs as an "itinerary tool" allowed me to do the following things:
- Post both images and textual notes.
- Publish to the web.
- Print a hard copy for during my actual travels.

- Google Maps traffic is cute, but no Traffic.com
- Shady stadium endorsements
- Football weekly blame game
