Transfer Google Notebooks to Docs Mar07 '07
I just noticed that Google Notebook allows you to export Notebooks to Google Docs.

With one click, the entire Notebook is transferred over to Google Docs.
Why is this helpful? I've already mentioned how I use Google Notebook and Google Docs as organizational tools: To-Do lists, backing up attachments, etc.
Sometimes a particular Notebook becomes very large. Google Notebook is not great at handling large amounts of text. For that, you should use Google Docs. So when a Notebook becomes too large, I can simply transfer it over to Docs. I still retain the same search benefits - a simple keyword retrieves relevant documents.
Google Docs also has far better formatting options, as well as options to save as Word, PDF, or HTML documents. Also, when you share a Google Doc, others can collaborate, by adding their own input to the doc.
I don't want to sound like Google Notebook is not useful, because it is. It's important to understand that Google Notebook and Google Docs both serve entirely different purposes, but it helps to merge the two, for certain situations.
