Rounded Corners Google Group Jun27 '07

I recently created a new Google Group called Rounded Corners. This group is an extension of my original post on creating rounded corners in Photoshop.

The reason I did this is because the comments started to outlive their purpose. There are far too many of them, and nobody really offers anything new - most comments are along the lines of: "Thanks! Worked perfect!" Or: "This is not working for me. Can you help?"

I realized there is a better repository for this, and it's called a forum or group. I've since closed feedback on that post, and began redirecting readers to the Google Group. There they can leave much more detailed messages about problems they are having while creating rounded corners, or just general tips and tricks. Also, I can respond more easily, rather than having to reply directly to comments on my own site.

Believe it or not, my site is not a technical help desk (but I realize that sometimes comes with the territory of having a technical blog). I don't have time to answer everyone's questions on topics that I post. Rather, the questions should be answered by a community, and if I have a few ideas, I'll chip in.

Hopefully the rounded corners group will gain some members over time, and become a high-level resource for creating rounded corners in all types of software applications.
